Student Voices for Gaza

At Avicenna Preparatory School, students are taking charge and demanding action. They've written direct letters to President Biden, expressing serious concerns about the dire situation facing children and families in Gaza. These letters cut to the chase, highlighting the urgent need to address the human rights crisis in the region.

Fueled by empathy and a sense of global responsibility, our students don't mince words. They stress the critical importance of protecting the most vulnerable in the midst of turmoil. Their letters demand action, calling on the administration to prioritize diplomatic efforts aimed at ensuring the safety and welfare of children and families in Gaza and call for a ceasefire.

But it doesn't stop there. These students are putting their money where their mouths are. They've raised over $1400, sent directly to those affected in the region. This isn't just advocacy; it's a no-nonsense commitment to justice and empathy. As a school community, we stand firmly behind our students, applauding their initiative to use their voices and resources as a force for change. Together, we amplify the call for a world where action speaks louder than words.
